Vacancy: Catherine Casey School of Dance

We are looking for someone to take over teaching our senior ballet class from September 2025 in Castleknock, Dublin, as well as our beginners adult ballet class.
Candidates would need to be available for weekend work, specifically Saturday late afternoons, and there would be two or three hours work depending on the availability of the candidate.

Instructor must meet the following criteria:

• The successful candidate would require a ballet teaching qualification, with a modern qualification a bonus.
• Knowledge of pointework is essential
• Professional and reliable (provide references)
• teaching style to bring out the best in their students
• engage with different ages and ability levels with patience and empathy
• be a team player
• use age appropriate music and movement & be comfortable choreographing for end of year recital

The Salary is based on experience and qualifications. We do offer a minimum salary of €30 plus holiday pay/PRSI.
They should be able to work independently, and be interested in a long term placement where possible (minimum one full season, September to May).
