Residency Opportunities for Dance Artists in 2023

CALL for Dance Studio Open Submission 2023

Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre is currently seeking applications for up to five Studio Research or Production Residency Awards for 2023. These may vary in length from 5 to 20 days and can take place in blocks or spread out across the year. Uillinn does not currently offer a stipend or accommodation for the duration of these Awards. We recommend artists complement this opportunity with a Local Authority or Art Council Bursary or Agility Award to source funding for accommodation, travel and expenses.

CALL for Dance Development Award for Early Years 2023

Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre is currently seeking submissions for a Dance Development Award from dance artists wishing to create work for very young audiences. The residency supports artists seeking an opportunity to research and develop their practices and to engage in dialogue with Uillinn and the local community. This is a non-accommodation residency with an offer of up to 12 days studio time between January and June 2023. The artist will receive a stipend of €1,500 towards their residency and will share their work with the public through a performance sharing/blogging/social media.
