Open Call:  Dance Ireland Residencies 2022

Applications are now open for Dance Ireland Residencies taking place between end of January and July 2022.

The Dance Ireland Residency Programme exists to support dance artists to create new dance work, engage in artistic research, and maintain a studio practice. Residencies are aimed at non-funded artists or projects. We offer support through wholly subsidised studio space at DanceHouse, Dublin.

Applications are made through an open call process and will be assessed by members of the Dance Ireland team and an artist representative. Residencies will be awarded on how well they meet the criteria.

We are offering 8 residencies of one-week duration, Monday to Friday in our studios at DanceHouse, with advice and support from the Dance Ireland team and the option of a studio showing through our New Movements programme.

There are 2 bursaries of €500 available to applicants living outside 75km of Dublin. Please indicate in your application if you wish to be considered for this bursary.

If you require additional access support, please include details of this in your application also, or get in touch to discuss further, contact: louise.costelloe@danceireland.ie
