Laura Murphy Dance Requires 2 Female Dancers for DI HATCH Research 2019
Laura’s research, as part of her HATCH Residency, is in collaboration with a team of artists: writer/poet Niamh Prior; composer/sound artist Irene Buckley; dance artist Siobhán Ní Dhuinnín; film-maker Mary Wycherley; dance artist Colin Dunne; and sound therapist Chloe McHugh.
The working period is 2-13 December 2019 with potential additional dates to follow.
Performers should have trained at recognised dance institutions. Graduates are welcome to apply.
Those interested should have strong technical skills, and also hold an interest in delving into an interdisciplinary creative process that requires improvisation, voice-work and an eagerness to work in a team environment. Community dance experience and/or an interest in working with members of the community would be beneficial.
Applications are open to those who identify as female.
Performer Fee, and Accommodation if necessary.
An audition will be held at DanceHouse, Dance Ireland, Dublin on Tuesday 17 September 10.00 – 17.00. (Class 10am – 11.30am and workshop audition 13.00 – 17.00)
Invitees are required to attend for the entire day.
