Firkin Crane: ReFramed Bursary

The purpose of the award, specifically aimed in response to the current climate created by the Covid-19 Pandemic, is to support Cork or Munster based professional artists at any stage of their career to develop their art practice. The Bursary intention is to support artists with the time and resources to think, research, reflect and critically engage with their art.

Submissions are welcome now until 5pm Friday 7th August. Decisions will be by an independent panel and the successful applicants will be notified by Monday 17th August.

The Bursaries will be provided to five Cork or Munster based independent dance artists that have a demonstrable track record of professional choreography.  Priority will be given to proposals that explain clearly how the Bursary would impact on the artist’s practice.

The bursary is worth 1000 euro- there are five Bursary Awards available.
