DanceAble Symposium online edition
For this edition of the biennial DanceAble Symposium to be held on friday February 11, 2022, Kimberley Harvey and Irene van Zeeland have joined forces. They have put together a program that is rich yet allows time to delve deeper into certain questions that inspire the industry to keep moving forward.
Here, participants are invited to engage in a (physical) conversation with experts from across Europe and challenged to think about how the sector can continue to evolve practically and proactively.
With speakers such as Charlotte Darbyshire (Candoco), Damar Lamers (Rediscover Me), Isis Geurts (Stichting Dans+), Robert Swinston, Diana Anselmo (Al.Di.Qua), Magali Saby (Be Together Academy), Jordy Dik (Compagnie 21), Lisette Reuter (Un-Label) and Claudia Marinelli (LKCA), we will dive into these topics to look for our own blind spots and prejudices.
The Symposium will take place online this time. Through presentations, lectures, panel discussions and workshops with people working in different parts of our sector we will ask questions to the inclusive dance sector and to each other. The goal is always to keep learning and evolving in what we do and how we do it.
After registering, you will receive the relevant links for participating in the Symposium. More information on the exact program can be found at the Holland Dance Festival website. When you register, please let us know if there are ways we can make this digital meeting accessible to you.
