Arts & Disability Ireland Communications and Administrative Officer

COMMUNICATIONS AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

ARTS & DISABILITY IRELAND (ADI)

Arts & Disability Ireland (ADI) is the national development and resource organisation for arts and disability. Championing the creativity of artists with disabilities and promoting inclusive experiences for audiences with disabilities lies at the heart of ADI’s work.

ADI’s role and remit has changed and grown significantly over recent years, resulting in a Staffing Structure Review in 2022 which created a new organisational framework. Further to the appointment of 3 new roles in January 2023, ADI is now seeking to recruit a Communications and Administrative Officer to meet its current and future needs.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Communications and Administrative Officer will have responsibility for the effective implementation and running of ADI’s communications activity in addition to providing day to day administrative support, including finance and governance, information and research.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record providing excellent administrative support combined with experience maintaining an organisation’s online presence.

The role is suited to someone who has an understanding of the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion, particularly within an arts context, can work well as part of a team, whilst also working on their own initiative to deliver the role’s requirements.
