Where Dance Meets Street: Dramaturgy Workshop

Thu 17 Jun 2021
11:00 - 13:00
Online: Via Zoom

Dance Ireland, and Irish Street Arts Circus and Spectacle Network (ISACS) present Where Dance meets Street, a cross sector gathering taking place on 17 June in association with the SpringMoves Dance Festival.

We invite dance, street and circus artists to take part in workshops and conversations that explore the practice, creation and presentation of work in outdoor spaces and the democratic nature of Street Arts, with a particular focus on opportunities for outdoor creation in the reopened sector.

Dramaturgy Workshop

Dramaturg Lou Cope leads this workshop that explores the difference between making work for indoor and outdoor contexts, and asks questions around how, why, where, with whom and for whom we might do so.

This is an interactive session for artists practicing in the field of dance, circus and street arts.

Closing date: Monday 14 June
