DI Member Tara Brandel has been awarded the 2020 Dance Ireland Tyrone Guthrie Residency award.

During this two week residency, Tara will work with Justine Cooper exploring their experiences as female dancers at a particular age, delving in to their own and our shared movement vocabularies, in an immersive environment.

Drawing on writing, talking, improvising and moving to explore questions around why they keep dancing and how dance has shaped them as women.

This will be very early research to developing a new duet around these themes.
