INTERMEDIATE class is intended for students who have previously taken at least one full academic year of Beginners Courses with Colleen, or for experienced tap dancers looking to brush up their skills after a break from dancing.  We will keep learning new steps and combinations beyond what you already know, introduce some rhythm-building and improv, and learn a new routine!  If you are unsure which level you should pick, please contact Colleen for advice.

Instructor Colleen Werle is a tap dancer hailing from Chicago, where she was a member of TONIK Tap Dance Company for four years, serving as dancer, choreographer, and rehearsal manager. Her choreography has been selected twice for Dance Chicago Festival in 2010 & 2011. Since moving to Ireland she has performed on invitation from the Irish embassy in Cyprus and at Reja Festival in Tirana, Albania. Colleen holds a degree in Theatre from Northwestern University, where she specialized in acting, dance, and puppetry. Equally experienced in both rhythm and Broadway styles, her teaching encompasses clean, complex rhythms for a full-bodied performance that's tonnes of fun!
