Off Beaten Path Dance come to DanceHouse on Friday 12 December at 4pm to present their current work, Clocks, as part of Dance Ireland’s New Movements series.
Clocks represents the manipulative power of control and the isolation of anxiety, which the company express through a highly energetic, synchronous section of choreographed dance, using prepared piano. Off Beaten Path Dance developed this piece initially as a full-length work entitled ShadowPlay which premiered in the Galway Fringe Festival 2014.
About Off Beaten Path Dance
Off Beaten Path Dance is a contemporary dance company, based in Galway, comprising of performer/choreographers Genevieve Ryan and Katarzyna Voetter, and musician/composer Eamon Brett. The company is dedicated to the creation of new work and performances merging contemporary dance with live specifically composed music.
