Join us for a work in progress sharing by artist Emily Aoibheann, following a week long residency.

New and embryonic work, 'A Year of the Heart' (with a secret title of Death, A Year of the Heart) delves into themes of transformation, ecstasy and courage, and celebrates precious beauty inherent in life's tragedy. The artwork takes the spine and heart as conceptual, choreographic and visual points of departure, with a view to heal the emotional body and evoke spirit through gestures of melancholic opulence, incorporating ambitious stage design, aerial fabric choreography and written text to be adapted musically at a later stage of creation.
