MENTORED RESIDENCY SUPPORT AWARDS
We developed these awards in response to members’ desire for more self-directed mentoring opportunities. In a further new development, we focus on supporting one proposal each from within classical ballet, traditional Irish dance and contemporary dance genres. It is anticipated these will become annual awards, with the next round available for autumn 2105/spring 2016.
Each award consists of a studio residency at DanceHouse and financial assistance toward the cost of working with your mentor. The purpose of the awards is to provide a professional development opportunity and to facilitate access to mentoring which the artist may not otherwise be in a position to access.
For the period autumn 2014 to spring 2015, we have made three awards.
Keep up to date with the recipients’ progress, make sure to check back to the news section to find out more and see the outcome of the work.
Please note: This is not a teaching residency, for a list of Daily Morning Classes at DanceHouse visit our training listings.
