About the Class
Our Beginner Improver Ballet course provides a fun introduction to ballet. Here students will cover basic ballet principles in a supportive and encouraging environment. Ballet terminology will be explained and demystified.
All our ballet classes are for fun, fitness and the love of ballet set in a non-competitive environment. This allows all students to reach their best potential in their own time.
Our 90 minute class covers a full body warm-up, barre work, centre practice, allegro (jumps), pirouettes (turns) and some choreographed phrases.
Ballet is excellent for improving posture, flexibility, co-ordination, muscle strength and toning, it has the advantage of working the entire body in just one ballet class.
Ballet is a great way to build self-confidence and can also be an outlet; helping to relieve stress and anxiety.
All our weekly classes are taught by qualified RAD ballet teachers from the Dublin City Ballet School.
