Vithória Escobar is a Professional Member of Dance Ireland, and will be in studio, as part of a DI Residency.

The main goal of this residency for Vithória is to engage in an in-depth artistic research in Dancehall. Dancehall is a Jamaican urban dance style that developed throughout the years and have now evolved into a rich dance culture with different sub-genres.

With this residency, Vithoria aims to use each day to immerse on a particular sub-genre, training its movements and studying its rhythms (in Dancehall called ‘riddims’).
