Jane Magan

Class will follow the typical structure and principles of classical ballet. Beginning at the barre, bringing the focus inwards whilst also keeping a more global awareness, aligning the body, warming up the muscles and articulations preparing the body to move strongly, fluidly and harmoniously in the centre.

Centre work will place emphasis on the use of ports de bras and co-ordination and also on listening to and dancing the music in order to give more breath and dynamic to the movement.  The intention is to offer a class that combines the possibility of learning and improving technique but also of having the opportunity to enjoy the act of dancing.
