Robyn Byrne

Robyn’s class is inspired by a mixture of contemporary techniques that she has picked up throughout her own training. Expect to start with a guided warm up and improvisation that leads into floor work crossings, gradually growing in complexity. There will be a focus on the physicality of movement through coordination, proprioception, flow and control. The class will finish with some energetic traveling sequences that will see us flying across the room and leave us feeling sweaty and fulfilled.

ABOUT Robyn

Robyn is a performer, choreographer and teacher based in Westmeath. She graduated from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2015 after touring extensively throughout UK and Europe with Verve Postgraduate Company.

Robyn has been performing professionally in Ireland since 2018 and began making her own work in 2020 with screendance O Before I. In 2022 she presented Glimmer as part of Live Collision International Festival 2022.

Recent performance credits include Emma Martin/United Fall - Night Dances and Junk Ensemble- The Cold SIngs.

Robyn was the National Dance Residency Partnership Artist for 2022 and is currently the Tipperary Dance Associate Artist for 2023.
