Ruaidhrí’s class will draw from the different techniques and classical styles incorporated within ballet as a whole. It will focus on the use of musicality, individuality and performance while aiming to challenge all dancers technically. The class will follow traditional structure. Beginning with barre, it will progress into centre practice, petit and grand allegro, including virtuosic steps for all dancers.

ABOUT Ruaidhrí

Ruaidhrí is an Irish ballet dancer and choreographer currently working as a soloist for the Baltic Opera Ballet, Gdansk, Poland, performing leads in Giselle, The Nutcracker and Cinderella. As a choreographer he recently premiered new works ‘After/Before’ at Dancer From the Dance Festival, ‘Gigue I’ in Osaka, Japan, ‘Cloudburst’ and ‘Elegia’ at the Baltic Opera Ballet and a film collaboration ‘The Estate’ with Conan McIvor. Ruaidhrí is passionate about bringing his experiences home to Ireland as a choreographer, performer and teacher.
