Our Intermediate/Advanced Ballet course is for students with previous ballet experience. In this 60 minute class we work at vocational level. This class is aimed to build on your ballet technique and vocabulary. Students who progress to our Intermediate/Advanced will work at a faster pace will be more technically challenged as the syllabus gets harder. We will cover barre work, centre practice, allegro (jumps), pirouettes (turns) and some choreographed phrases. These classes are for fun, fitness and for the love of ballet, set in a non-competitive environment allowing all students to reach their best potential in their own time. We offer a special rate for both Monday & Thursday ballet classes.
Ballet is excellent for improving posture, flexibility, co-ordination, muscle strength and toning, it has the advantage of working the entire body in just one ballet class. In particular ballet strengthens all the leg muscles, abdominal muscles and gluteus. Ballet is a great way to build self-confidence and can also be an outlet; helping to relieve stress and anxiety.
We offer our adult students the opportunity to up skill and to reengage with the love of ballet they may have experienced as a child. Here with the experience of our Royal Academy of Dance trained ballet teachers, the Dublin City Ballet School opens the world of Ballet to Adults of all ages and ability. We specialise in offering slow paced Complete Beginner Ballet classes - Advanced level classes. We have a class for you.
