Alessandra Azeviche is an Afro-Brazilian dance facilitator in Ireland.
We will be introduced to Afro-Brazilian Dance - developing the most energetic warm up, choreography, including short breaks to explain the historical contexts. African dances became a form of artistic expression in many places where the African diaspora happened. Most of the rhythms and dances were created from these roots. The ease of movements, the valorisation of the culture, the resilience and community sense of a people. As a way of exploring the circularities available in our body, we'll connect with what our ancestors are always trying to tell us, life is beginning, middle and beginning. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water.
Come join us for a unique experience. The ancestral circularity dance class will take you on a journey through different wisdom within the body. Learn how to move your body in ways that connect you to your roots and ancestors. This in-person event is a great way to unwind, have fun, and connect with like-minded individuals. See you on the dance floor!
