Dance for Parkinson’s

Classes run for three terms on a Monday from 11.30-1pm.

Dance for Parkinson’s

The benefits of dance for people with Parkinson’s have been well documented and supported by organisations such as Move4Parkinson’s. Hear from Dance for PD Program Director David Leventhal on how ‘thinking like a dancer’ can aid the management of Parkinson’s. Our classes run for three terms on a Monday from 11.30-1pm and are open to all. We also welcome care givers, spouses and friends to join us too. The cost of each class is €5 and includes tea/coffee. Classes for 2019 start back on Monday 28 January.

Classes are led by professional dance artists Olwyn Lyons and  Ailish Claffey, who are both certified to teach the Dance for Parkinson's.
