Why become a member of Dance Ireland?
Membership connects you with the network of choreographers, dancers, companies and curators, researchers, facilitators who strengthen dance in Ireland. Adding your voice to ours ensures that our programme is relevant to the continuously evolving sector and has the greatest possible impact on the development of dance in Ireland.
Members are also eligible to take part in our dedicated membership enagement opportunities (as relevant to your category).
Who can become a member?
Membership is open to professionals working in dance, movement and choreography currently, or are in training and aspire to do so in the near future, as well as professionals who support dance and are connected to movement and choreographic work.
To be eligible for membership you must be either Irish born or resident in Ireland.

How do I become a member?
Membership is offered on a 12-month rolling basis - you can join or renew at any time. Complete the online application form (supporting documents relevant to your category may be requested) and follow instructions to make payment.
Join here if your primary source of income comes from working as a professional dancer or choreographer.
Join here if you are a dance company, arts organisation, local authority, or other organisation with an interest in dance.
Join here if you are a professional in dance outside the field of performance e.g. dance educators, administrators, producers, dance writers, researchers or curators.
Join here if you provide dance training opportunities in Ireland, including vocational and third-level dance courses or independent dance schools.
