Pre-Professional

Contemporary & Classical Ballet Dancer

From the moment I took my first dance class, I have felt a strong connection and love for the ability to tell a story through this art form. Being able to take on a character and portray their emotions and experiences through dance has always been something that I have been interested in exploring further and a skill that I have used as a way to enhance my performance. Having performed in full productions from a young age while being part of the Irish National Youth Ballet company for four years, gave me the opportunity to strengthen these skills.

At the age of 16, I decided that this was the career path that I wanted to pursue so I applied to study abroad. Studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) has given me the opportunity and space to get closer to my goals as a dancer and performer. I have learnt valuable lessons throughout my training alongside having many performance opportunities for both small and large audiences.

During my final year at RCS I spent time auditioning for dance companies and graduate programmes around the world. Towards the end of my graduate year, I was offered an apprenticeship contract with Budapest Dance Theatre from August 2024- June 2025. My time working with a professional dance company so far has opened my eyes to the professional world giving me the opportunity to learn from various teachers and choreographers through training and performance periods. I am looking forward to the next few months with the company and for the upcoming audition season.
