Meaghan Richardson
Pre-Professional

Meaghan is currently a PhD student at University College Cork and an active member of the dance community at UCC and in Cork.
Meaghan began her pre-professional ballet training at the Maryland School of Ballet and Modern Dance under the direction of Laura Ward-Moran and the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary.

She has been fortunate to attend numerous summer intensives and workshops with teachers and choreographers in the US and abroad. She continued training at Boston Ballet and Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre while studying at Boston University.

Following graduation, Meaghan became increasingly involved with Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre. In 2023, Meaghan performed as a court lady in Boston Ballet’s Sleeping Beauty. In September 2023, Meaghan began her PhD in Pharmaceutics at UCC.

She has been involved with UCC Dance, Cork City Ballet, Cork Youth Ballet Company, Dance Cork Firkin Crane, and Inma Pavon Dance.
