Jessie Thompson is a Dublin based Dance Artist specializing in Experimental Contemporary and Hip Hop dance.
Jessie works as a professional Dancer, Choreographer and movement director across Live performance and film as well as teaching and mentoring multidisciplinary artists, She is an emerging maker of Dance in Theatre and over the past two years has been awarded several times from both Arts Council Ireland and Dance Ireland for further artistic development.
Jessie was commissioned by Dublin Dance Festival and Top 8 Streetdance Platform for Dancescapes, she is continuing this work in development into 2023 alongside further research with Live Music and Dance.
Jessie is recognised across theatre for working with United Fall, OnetwoOneTwo, TasteimYourMouth, Liz Roche choreography programme, Monica Munoz, Dance2Connect Festivals, Maker Shaun Dunne and more aswell as being heavily immersed in the Irish Street Dance Community and Film Industry.
