Ella Dennehy

Ella started ballet at the age of 5 at the Nicola Farcas School of Ballet.

She has progressed through the ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet grades, most recently achieving a Distinction in her Advanced 1 Exam (May 2019). At 10 years old she successfully auditioned for the Irish National Youth Ballet, where she stayed for 5 years, following annual audition, Performing 2 seasons per year and she has been fortunate to dance various roles including Clara in Nutcracker at age 11. In 2019 Ella was promoted to Senior company within INYB and performed the lead in Danse Macabre (Feb 2020) at Perform Ireland which was unfortunately her last show with INYB. In November 2019 she placed 1st in the Irish National Ballet Competition (age 14-16 category). She was in both the Royal Ballet and  Ballet boost associate programmes. She has also attended abroad summer schools each year from 2015-2019 some including YBSS, Royal ballet ss, ballet boost ss etc as well as Irish summer schools such as TDI and IBF. She now trains at Elmhurst ballet school and is in second year. She am training to be a professional dancer while studying for A-Levels and working towards her Diploma in Dance accredited by Trinity College London.
