It has been based in Derry since 1998 and at purpose-refurbished home studios on Derry’s historic walls since 2013.

The company is primarily artist-led and organised as an ensemble with broad circles of collaborators locally, nationally and internationally. The company is known for a unique movement style and approach that it calls ‘Poetic Movement’.

Echo Echo produces a wide-ranging artistic programme including new work productions and tours, participation projects for people of all ages and abilities, artist development programmes, venue-based arts programmes, extensive community partnerships, and international dance and movement festivals.
