I am a full time circus & street arts practitioner, completing Belfast Circus School in 2000.
In ‘09 I formed Lords of Strut with Cian Kinsella. The unique combination of dance, comedy and circus won multiple awards, including Street Performance World Champions. The company wrote and performed 6 theatre shows, with multiple TV appearances.
In 2017 I instigated Pitch’d Circus Festival to bring my experiences from my world touring to my home city of Cork.
In 2023 I adapted Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night's Dream” into the Circus Theatre show “Four Lovers” for Cork Midsummer Festival.
I worked with Corcadorca in 2020 for their Covid response show “Contact”, and recently as part of Cork Opera House’s “Summer Revels”.
My solo street performance circus show “Captain C-Man” is currently touring Passionate about circus, in particular juggling, I’m interested in exploring ways of storytelling through combining and integrating movement, text and object manipulation.
I've been selected for an upcoming D2C LAB 2025 this April in Dance House, and am supported in my dance/movement practice in Cork through Dance Cork Firkin Crane.
