Clarissa Michaux

Clarissa Michaux is a Choreographer, Dance Teacher and Performer.

Clarissa's training as a Professional Dancer took place at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance London, with previous training at The College of Dance Dublin. Clarissa holds a Master’s in Dance from The University of Limerick and a Professional Diploma in Education (Further Education Level 8) from Marino Institute of Education - Trinity College.

She is a qualified and registered Teacher with The International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), Registered Teacher with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), The United Kingdom Alliance (UKA) as a Dance Adjudicator and Teacher in Freestyle Dance and registered with the Teaching Council.

A member of UNESCO Conseil International De La Danse, The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), and The All-Ireland Dance Federation (AIDF). She also holds A Diploma in Dance Exercise (IDTA), and a Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology (IDTA). She is a certified Level 3 PBT Instructor (Progressive Ballet Technique), a certified Zumba Instructor and certified with Irish Gymnastics in Rhythmic Gymnastics as a Level 2 Coach and Rhythmic Gymnastics Judge. Clarissa is also a Leader with Gasice the Irish Presidents Award.

2020 Clarissa and her school The Academy of Dance were awarded a Kerry County Council 'County Award' for their International Achievements in 2019 when representing Ireland in Spain.

2018 saw Clarissa win a 'Connect Kerry Women in Business Award' - Winning the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Clarissa has performed across Ireland, the UK and around the World with numerous Dance Companies in both Professional Shows, Productions & Pantomimes alongside stars such as Wayne Sleep and Bonnie Langford as well as appearing in television commercials.
