Anne Rowe

Anne is a dance artist from Dublin.

Following two years of training at the College of Dance in Dublin, she moved to Spain where she is now in her final year of training at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona. She will graduate with a Bachelors degree in Contemporary Dance in 2025. Throughout her training Anne has worked on many productions with international choreographers for both stage, screen and installation performances. As a choreographer she has also created pieces for festivals such as CREART, a site specific dance festival where she premiered her piece ‘Pekuliar’ and Sitges Film Festival where she created and performed her solo piece ‘Slán Go Foill’.

As an emerging artist Anne has worked on various different projects in addition to her training. She recently participated in a residency with Flora Fauna Project for their upcoming project ‘The Peace Process’ and she will be premiering the piece with them in 2025. Anne has also worked Closely with Simone O’Toole Collective in her work ‘Terra Femina’. She additionally had the opportunity to attend Peeping Tom Kitchen 2024 in Brussels. Anne hopes to continue to grow as a performer and creator in the upcoming years, and aims to focus on the expansiveness of dance and the limitless approaches she can explore it with. She will continue to search for fulfilling projects and opportunities and thrives to approach them with as much openness and compassion as possible.
