Aisling Ní Cheallaigh

Aisling Ní Cheallaigh is an Irish aerialist based in Dublin Ireland. Along with Ronan Brady, Aisling received a Dublin Circus Project Support Residency 2020.

She is self taught, beginning her training in 2011 with Fidget Feet Aerial Dance and continuing it wherever she could find it with coaches, performers and choreographers from around the world. Aisling specialises in Aerial Hoop and also performs Fabric, Rope, Duo Trapeze, and hand to hand acrobatics. (Showreel)

Aisling has created and produced two full shows to date with fellow performer Ronan Brady. How to Square A Circle, a full length theatre show which will tour winter 2019/2020. And Sub Rosa, an outdoor work which recently premiered at the Carlow Arts Festival and will tour in the Spring of 2020.

Aisling works with Irish contemporary circus companies Fidget Feet, Ether Productions, Taking Flight, LUXE and Aerial Cirque. Her skills take her around the word and has given her the opportunity to work on events like Edinburgh’s Hogmanay (UK), The Islamic Solidarity Games (Azerbaijan), Montreal Completment Cirque Festival (Canada), Bliss Circus Nights (India) and Zero Gravity Festival (Estonia).
