For this year’s Cruinniú na nÓg, Dance Ireland are producing a new dance project, happening nationwide in the lead up to year's event on Saturday 12th June. It’s called Let’s Dance!
Working with choreographers, Matt Szczerek and Jack Bain, of Human Collective, they will kickstart the creative activity this year for Let’s Dance! They will be introducing a hip hop flavour to some creative challenges, during the coming weeks. You are invited to be part of an online community of young dancers from across Ireland, gathering together to learn innovative ways of making dance using technology through online workshops and Human Collective’s online dance resource. We are excited to see what you and they will imagine and create, for the final work that will be revealed on Saturday 12 June!
Ireland’s youth dance companies from across the country are leading dance workshops locally to share the joy with other children and young people.
Finally, look out for our dance challenge, which will be revealed in the weeks leading up to Cruinniú na nÓg, open to all!
Keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook accounts to see behind the scenes footage and witness the creativity, talent and passion of young people as it happens.
