The Artists’ Resource Room is our working home for dance artists, providing a space to work and research outside of the studio.
Artists’ Resource Room
The Artists’ Resource Room can be used for research, study and meetings, and can comfortably accommodate up to 30 people.
Please note: This space does not have a sprung floor and is not suitable for any style of dance.
Archive Collection & Library
The room houses our Archive & Library, which contains a selection of dance and arts books, DVDs, journals and magazines. A full catalogue of the collection can be downloaded below.
Use and Booking
Access to the facility is free to all members and those hiring studios at DanceHouse. It is also available to hire to non-members for an hourly or daily fee. For longer periods, a competitive deal can be negotiated. To facilitate greater communal use of the Artists’ Resource Room, you can now book either one of the desks, or the whole room.
Facilities include Wi-Fi, large screen tv, DVD player, as well as a number of desks for reading and study purposes.
