EVOLVE Producing Programme

Dance Ireland’s Producer in Residence Programme, led by international dance and theatre producer Gwen Van Spijk, is now in its third year. The programme aims to explore producing culture within the dance ecology in Ireland, connect dance artists and producers, and provide opportunities to develop skills in practical aspects of self-producing for artists.

As part of this, we have developed the EVOLVE Producing programme.

This is an in–depth professional development opportunity that will provide bespoke guidance, advice and mentoring to dance artists and their producers. It will support participants to develop and deliver new projects, increase their understanding of the producing process and can support the initiation and development of artist/producer relationships.

The programme will consist of a series of monthly working-group sessions to help problem solve and tackle different aspects of producing dance work, including guidance and information from professionals and experts working in the sector.
