Catherine Young Dance ONLINE 

The Welcome Project is packed with programmes including classes in West African and Palestinian dabke dance, and a new dance film showcasing the company’s dance and music works.
Yahya Kamaté will lead a West African Dance class live over zoom from New Jersey and Salma Ataya will lead a class in Palestinian Dabke dance.

Ceolchoirm ó Mhúscraí ONLINE

Ceolchoirm gairid ag tabhairt blaise d’amhránaíocht agus ceol uaithiúil Mhúscraí mar aon le blaise don rince comhaimseartha ón rinceoir cónaitheach Siobhán Ní Dhuinnín.
A short concert featuring some of Múscraí’s wonderful singers and musicians as well as contemporary dance from dancer in residence Siobhán Ní Dhuínnín.

Helga Deasy Dance ONLINE 

A dance film, River Fragments,  following the journey of two dancers along the River Lee. An ancient river, always in motion, a witness to the changing face of a city. Separating and reconnecting, embracing the city, eternally ebbing and flowing. In a dynamic flux, two dancers journey along this river, until they meet, as the river meets the sea.

Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company LIVE

The Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company and The Source Arts Centre present Miss Orbit, a durational dance performance on the boardwalk of the Source Arts Centre.

Using the boardwalk as a viewing area, the audience witness a work behind glass, as three women gather behind the panels of the theatre hall. Unique and universal, they randomly intersect at the crossroad of past images and projected futures. They trace their way, swirling behind the glass window or sitting in loneliness in the slanted light.

Irish National Youth Ballet ONLINE

INYB Premieres their latest work, Almost Together featuring INYB’s new company for the 2020/2021 season, depicts the joy in being able to move again but it is marked by so many restrictions and procedures that the dancers must work around. The piece journeys through from the youngest junior members in to the senior company without any interacting together. This creates a sadness and longing that is present to represent being within reaching distance but not being allowed to connect.

John Scott Dance LIVE & ONLINE 

Bloodlines is a dance performance/installation based on memory, migration and the body’s stories, created by Irish Modern Dance Theatre’s John Scott.
A cast of migrant dancers perform a multitude of small personal dances based on migration and stories, culminating in a group dance of joy. Bloodlines features a soundscape of migrant stories and dreams with live musical accompaniment.

Remote Control Artist Showcase LIVE

Join Brú Theatre, Galway Dance Project and the Town Hall Theatre for an evening of live performance, dance and music, showcasing the work of three Galway based artists.

Kristyn Fontanella, Fionnuala Doyle Wade and SJ Woods have been taking part in the inaugural Remote Control programme over the last three months. Working remotely with experienced mentors Oona Doherty, Louise Lowe and New Art Club, these three artists all developed new work during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Robyn Byrne ONLINE 

O before I’ began as a desire to give my mother opportunity to dance at Shawbrook, the place where she brought me to learn to dance as a child.  What transpired during the filming was an unexpected deepening of our mother-daughter relationship, meeting one another as two adults in a place full of childhood memories.
