Tipperary Dance Platform: The festival kicks off in October with an extensive line up of live and online performances, exhibitions, screen-dance and a hotspot lab for dance artists; plus much more. The line up includes artists such as Liz Roche Company, Mary Wycherley, AIne Stapleton, Iseli-Chiodi dance company, Emma Martin, Dylan Quinn, amongst others. Check out the full programme HERE


Liz Roche Company: The company premiered 'The Here Trio' back in February; they have now adapted the piece to be performed in a new context; this new version takes into consideration social distancing restrictions and the new environment and conditions for live performance due to the Covid pandemic. Irish Modern Dance Theatre: John Scott's company brings back its first live indoor show since 2019 with the hugely successful 'Hyperactive 2020'- running 30 Sep-3 Oct. For more info & to buy tickets see HERE.


Culture Night 2020: 18 Sep- has a vast array of events and performances from many dance artists; including John Scott, Rita Marcalo, Catherine Young, Croi Glan and Jessie Keenan to name a few.  For the full programme see HERE.



Emergence 20/21: Applications are currently open for the Emergence programme- a South Dublin Arts Office and Dance Ireland initiative. If you are a young choreographer aged 16-25 and looking for intensive mentoring and choreographic training, this is for you. Read more HERE.

Firkin Crane Film Forum: As well as reopening their doors for classes and residencies, Firkin Crane are hosting regular online meetings; they have an online Film Forum this Thurs 17 Sep; this forum is open to dance practitioners and film makers to make connections. Read more HERE . 




Ballet Ireland: Ballet Ireland will support a number of artists working through the idiom of ballet with a series of small bursaries. The closing date for applications is 1 October 2020. For further info see HERE.
