LaunchPad 2020 Recipients

Following an open call earlier this year, the 2020 LaunchPad have been awarded to seven Dance Ireland Members.

The LaunchPad Award is part of Dance Ireland's strategy to support the development of our Professional Members. This also acts as a support to the progression of their careers through their innovative approaches. The aim of this award is to seed an idea or aspiration, or to invest in something that will support the growth of your vision. 

2020 Recipients

Robyn Byrne
Robyn will use this award to invest in film equipment to explore and develop screendance practice.

This award will support accessing software and hardware for an interactive digital platform to support audience engagement with online work.

Lisa Cliffe
Lisa will use this award to conduct research into dance education in primary schools, and establish a focus group for this in the sector.

Marion will use this award to invest in training in and purchase of video editing software to provide foundation for working in screendance.

Helen will use this award to gain access to and undertake training in Isadora software to develop her art-tech practice.
