Dear Dance Friends,

As we wrap up 2024 at Dance Ireland, hopefully heading into some time of rest and respite with friends and family, we are taking a moment to look back with gratitude, and to plan how to move forward with ambition for all who work in dance.

This past year has demonstrated the strength and resilience of our sector. We have seen how the seeds of ideas sown in shifting ground have grown to produce work that has gained the notice of international peers and audiences. The fruits of the labour of a still under-resourced community of artists, and ill-understood art form. And yet, we still move forward.

In 2025, we hope that you will join us at Dance Ireland as we continue to invest in building expertise in our sector, fostering innovation through our awards and supports, deepening connection across the dance ecology in Ireland, and advancing advocacy to ensure the voices of those working in dance are heard.
