Dance Artist in Residence Announcement

Dance Ireland are delighted to partner with dance artist and youth dance specialist Erica Borges on a dance programme in Dublin 1 for children and young people, funded by the Arts Council’s Dance Artist Residency Scheme.

Erica will be working with St. Laurence O’Toole Primary School and Ballybough Youth Services over the coming weeks, and curating a youth dance day on Friday 8 April.

This opportunity will allow us to engage with our local community, highlight excellence in youth dance practice, and understand more about how we can connect local children to dance.

Dance is a redemptive and authentic celebration of life expressed through freedom.
As a dancer and youth dance leader, my goal is to facilitate original expression of movement, generated through creativity and liberation
. - Erica Borges
