European Dancehouse Network
The European Dancehouse Network General Assembly on 1 June 2017 when it selected yesterday the new Board of Directors. We are delighted to announce the new Board includes Hazel Hodgins, Dance Ireland's Programme Manager.
'I am honoured to have been elected to join the board of the European DanceHouse Network. I feel that my involvement will play an important role in the geographic representation of Europe, as Ireland is both on the periphery of Europe and an island nation. Demographically, being of a younger generation to my counterparts on the board, I will focus on representing the interests and challenges of upcoming generations of emerging dance artists.
More practically, this is a key time for the EDN as the network heads into a new four year project funded by the European Commission. In these coming years the network will both grow and consolidate its interests and aims.' Hazel Hodgins on her recent appointment
