INTERNATIONAL ARTIST EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

This programme enables dance artists to travel outside their normal working environment to explore new ideas and develop their knowledge and skills in new working contexts in a reciprocal arrangement with amongst others, Movement Research New York, Dance4 Nottingham, Le Pacifique|CDC Grenoble, and CSC Casa dela Danza Bassano.

Modul-dance

Dance Ireland is a partner in Modul-dance, a four year pan European project involving 22 dance partners from 15 European countries. Dance Ireland members Fearghus O’Conchuir, Liz Roche, Mary Wycherley and Aoife McAtamney are some of the Irish artists we are working with on this project.

E-Motional Bodies and Cities

Dance Ireland is a partner in E-MOTIONAL Bodies & Cities, a European mobility and artistic exchange dance programme, connecting artists and dance managers from countries participating in the project through mobility grants, residencies, fellowships, artistic research and performance co-production and exchange.

E-MOTIONAL is realised in Ireland by Dublin Dance Festival and Dance Ireland in association with the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at University of Limerick.

Tour d’Europe des Choréographes

Dance Ireland was a partner in Tour d’Europe des Choréographes, a two year pilot training project for emerging choreographers (2009 to 2011). A five-way partnership between Le Pacifique/CDC (Grenoble), K3 Zentrum fur Choreographie (Hamburg), Lubelski Teatr Tanca (Lublin), Centro Coreogrfico Galego (La Corua) and Dance Ireland. The project was build upon the spirit of the ‘compagnons du Tour de France’ with a focus on the professional, technical, moral, cultural and intellectual aspects of being an artist.
