Mentored Choreographic Lab
An evolution of the Irish Choreographer New Works Platform, this programme consists of a 3-week mentored choreographic lab for choreographers wishing to investigate their creative process without the pressure of creating a finished work. Studio space, daily class, stipend and mentorship are provided to selected participants to experiment, workshop and develop choreographic ideas in a structured and safe creative environment.
For 2010 we welcome back renowned Canadian mentor Peter Boneham to work with us from 24 to 28 May (week one) and again from 27 September to 8 October (weeks two/three). Week one is an open introductory week for all those interested in the Lab to meet with Peter and discover more about his teaching methodologies and techniques. Weeks two/three are intensive periods focusing on selected participants choreographic concerns and ideas.
