Artist Bursaries
Dance Ireland offers a number of choreographic bursaries to dance artists and choreographers working in Ireland. These bursaries are intended to give artists the breathing space to explore new avenues of interest and address self-identified areas of development, which cannot be tackled within their normal working process. It is a condition of support that successful choreographers work with us, by sharing their process, research findings, and work-in-progress. Check out our News section for the latest on bursaries.
- For 2007/2008, we awarded seven bursaries, total value €49,300.
- For 2008/2009, we awarded twelve bursaries total value €60,000.
- For 2009/2010, we awarded eight bursaries, total value €57,400, as follows:
