Dance Ireland Professional Morning Class Survey 2010

All those who return their completed survey by 21 May @ 5pm will be entered into a draw to win a week of free Professional Morning Class @ DanceHouse.

Dance Ireland is resourced to provide training which supports the professional development of dancers and choreographers.

It had been decided in 2007 that the morning class model would remain a stable and constant feature of the programme. A range of styles, genres and practices, including ballet, contemporary, yoga, jazz, tap and aerial dance as well as a variety of holistic practices have been provided. Specifically by providing an average of 35 weeks of classes per year in Dublin, Dance Ireland has traditionally addressed the on-going training needs of the community through the 10am class.

However, since 2007, irregular/non-attendance at morning dance class has been an issue of concern.

We want to know your thoughts on this matter - whether you are a member of Dance Ireland or not - so now is the time to express yourself!

Dance Ireland encourage all dance professioanls to fill in our questionnaire and send it back to Audrey Houdart on audrey.houdart@danceireland.ie before Friday 21 May, or by post to Dance Ireland, DanceHouse, Foley street, Dublin 1.
