Membership is open to both individuals and organisations. Our members reflect the full spectrum of activity within the artform, with choreographers, dancers, teachers, students, dance writers and dance enthusiasts all playing their part.

So whether you're a professional, amateur or supporter, working in or just interested in dance, there's a place for you here. And as a member of Dance Ireland, you will have access to a range of unique opportunities, services and resources that promote creative, professional and critical engagement in dance, at all levels of interest and participation, and at local, regional, national and international levels. In a new development and in recognition of the growth in this area; we introduce a special category for those providing dance training courses and movement opportunities in Ireland, including pre-vocational, vocational, full-time third-level dance and choreography courses and independent dance schools.

Dance Student €25 - Join Now!

For those who have enrolled in, or just graduated within one year from, a full time third-level dance or choreography course, including students training with independent dance schools, private teachers, youth dance ensembles and youth dance companies.

Dance Associate €50 - Join Now!

For professionals in dance not working in the field of performance or choreography including dance educators/teachers, dance administrators, dance producers, dance writers, researchers and historians and arts professionals.

Dance Friend €100 - Join Now!

For individuals and organisations with an interest in dance who wish to join the growing lobby for support of dance in Ireland. Your contribution is gratefully received and shall assist us in our efforts to promote the artform in every way possible.

Dance Ireland membership year runs from 1 June to 31 May of the following year, with our AGM usually held in April. All members receive a membership card. Renewing / new members are urged to complete their membership forms at the earliest opportunity to continue to avail of Dance Ireland activities, benefits and services.

How do I become a Dance Ireland member?

It's easy!
Just choose the category most suitable for you, download the membership form, complete and return to us. Payment is now even easier; we accept laser and credit card payments. You can pay in person at reception in DanceHouse, by posting us a cheque/bank draft or over the telephone using your laser or credit card.
