Dance Ireland wants to take dance into our local community in the north east inner city of Dublin and to provide opportunities for people everywhere to engage with DanceHouse and the work of Dance Ireland.
Current projects include:
- Open House - non-curated events by youth and community dance groups at DanceHouse
- Open Days - free ‘taster’ dance classes, open to all
- Macushla Dance Club - free, weekly dance classses for the over 50s
- Company B - an opportunity for young Irish males to dance
- FlashDance - local hip-hop group
- DANCEabout - creative dance classes for young children
We are currently developing a programme of in-school dance classes for local schools and other tailor-made creative dance programmes for local young people - keep an eye on this section for the latest news.
