Biodanza is essentially a system of human integration, or re-education, involving the use of specific music and movement to create a transforming experience (called "vivencia" in Biodanza terminology) in the person. This transformation involves the humanisation of the person through positive interactions with others that works on self-connection (experiencing of emotion), self-expression, communication, feedback and group interaction.

Biodanza is practiced all over Europe and South America.
Biodanza (Bio meaning life, and danza meaning dance) is an unforgettable experience. It is a rediscovery of the innocence of love, the beauty of touch, and the meaning of movement.

Professor Rolando Toro, psychologist, anthropologist, poet and artist from Chile, created the Biodanza system in the 70s. The great results he obtained while working with his patients made this system the ideal alternative to help people unblock their emotions, feelings and creativity while bringing balance and harmony to the body and mind. It has a specifically Latin feel to it (the name Biodanza is from the Spanish), in the focus on living in the body, the contact with others, the joy of dancing and the ecstasy of music.
