Pilates is a unique system of body-conditioning that stretches and strengthens the muscles, improving flexibility, balance, breathing, posture and alignment.
Pilates concentrates on strengthening the central core of the body and using the abdominal muscles to control different movements.
It also encourages you to focus your mind as you exercise your body, gradually improving your general awareness, co-ordination and overall alignment.
What is Pilates Dynamic style?
Paul has developed a dynamic flowing style of Pilates, integrating classical Pilates matwork with Ballet/Floor-Barre and simple postures and sequences from Vinyasa Flow Yoga.
While focusing on the core work of classical Pilates, Paul always includes a standing warm-up and a standing cool-down to create a balanced full-body workout.
Paul includes a full range of Pilates light equipment in all his courses including balls, fit-circles, foam rollers, flex bands, body-pole and ballet-barre.
