Funders / Partners / Affiliations

Dance Ireland receives annual revenue funding from the Arts Council to support our role as the national resource and service organisation for professional dance in Ireland. Additional support comes from Dublin City Council, membership fees and income generated by our activities and studio rentals. Our international programme is supported by Culture Ireland.

Dance Ireland receives capital support for DanceHouse from the Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism. With DanceHouse, we provide a working base for a diverse range of dance activity: subsidised rehearsal spaces, affordable professional training and development programmes, performance opportunities and local initiatives, including evening and weekend dance classes.

In keeping with our role, partnerships are the means for us to further capitalise on our resources and assist in strategic development of dance.
